Building civil society capacities

Through roundtables with politicians, parliamentarians, and academic experts to support the debate on localities, with the aim of coming up with a set of recommendations and a policy paper for discussing youth in localities, the Foundation hosted more than 30 politicians and academics in a roundtable over two consecutive sessions.
Kayan Foundation is also interested in participating in its oversight role during electoral elections as a civil society organization, with the aim of supporting youth participation in these elections and completing the work of national and international institutions in this regard.

Through training workshops to support discussion about localities, with the aim of raising awareness and empowering young people regarding the importance of local councils and the necessity of activating their role, as well as providing the opportunity for young people to present their ideas and perceptions freely and without fear, in preparation for presenting them in the national dialogue, while enriching their ideas by allowing them to discuss them.
