For the second time, the Kayan Foundation for Community Development continues to participate in family counseling sessions that are provided monthly through the Psychological Support Unit of the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood in order to educate mothers and guardians on various topics, most notably their medical rights and their awareness of healthy eating patterns and the importance of mental health, as well as Dealing with problems of children and adolescents.
Participation in these sessions comes within the framework of activating the recommendations of the round table held by the Kayan Foundation for Community Development, which specializes in discussing the issue of obstetric violence in Egypt.

Dr. Farida Mahjoub, a public health consultant, participated as a speaker in the session, and she in turn received a great response from the audience, who praised the effectiveness of the previous session and its positive impact on their awareness and ability to deal with the health difficulties they face.
It is noteworthy that the psychological support unit is affiliated with the General Administration for Child Help and its hotline is 16000
The unit works 24 hours a day with the aim of providing all forms of psychological, legal and social support for cases of violence and danger of all degrees and types.
